The single graduated row composed of 85 natural pearls measuring approximately 6.8-3.9mm, to an oval shaped clasp, circa 1920, 48.5cm long, original tooled leather fitted case, later replaced clasp
Accompanied by report no.10241 dated 28 July 2014 from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, London, stating the pearls are natural, saltwater

This lot is offered together with its original purchase receipt dated 19th October 1921 from Alstons & Hallam Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, 69 Cornhill, London, describing the necklace as '1 Fine Pearl Necklace with Diamond Snap Guaranteed all naturally formed Pearls, 87 Pearls, 331 grains £2,000'
