Each polished oval panel alternately set with a single-cut diamond cypher beneath a crown surmount for King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece, to figure-of-eight connections, circa 1950

Specialist note

King Paul of Greece (14 Dec 1901 - 6 Mar 1964) married Princess Frederica of Hanover in 1938, and reigned from 1947 until his death. These cufflinks were presented to an Italian ambassador and were a typical diplomatic gift of the period.
