Specialist note

Gao Lijie, son of Gao Jianfu, was born in 1936. He moved to Macau with his parents in his early years and later studied in Taiwan. He studied Chinese paintings under Yang Shanshen and took worked in the education sector in Hong Kong. He is currently the honorary chairman of Hong Kong's Chun Fung Art Club.
