Each piece painted with vignettes of exotic birds in landscapes within gilt-edged circular or kidney-shaped cartouches, against a pink, blue and gilt oeil-de-pedrix ground, the domed cover with a carnation finial, within gilt dentil rims (minor chips to finial, light scratching to stand, very slight wear to gilding)
