Ovoid, centring an oval panel depicting Mother of God, bending over a book with her hands crossed, after a painting by Vladimir Borovikovskii, within a gilt ciselé foliate frame, the turquoise ground of the reverse painted with ciselé foliage and laurel wreath with crossed palm fronds, signed with initials ‘M K.’ for M. Kryukov, unmarked
