Possibly with R.W.P. de Vries, Amsterdam; from whom purchased by I.Q. van Regteren Altena on 26 June 1928 for 24.15 guilders (Inventory book: '489. t. v. Everdingen landschap').

Specialist note

By the same hand as two drawings of similar subject, medium and size in the Hamburger Kunsthalle (inv. 22465 and 22466; A. Stefes, Niederländische Zeichnungen 1450-1850, Cologne, Weimar and Vienna, 2011, no. 322 and 323).
