The present model was created in 2013 to celebrate the Year of the Snake in a limited edition of only 100 pieces. The sturdy, large, military case design typical of Panerai, and in this case further emphasized by the coverlid, marries one of the most refined and elegant arts of watchmaking: fine engraving. The result is surprisingly convincing, with these two souls mutually reinforcing by contrast their charm.
The pristine condition of the piece, the presence of all of its original accessories, and the limited edition of this issue further boost the appeal and collectability of this fine example of watchmaking art.
