Specialist note

With Longines Extract from the Archives confirming the production of the present watch with a 30CH calibre, and its subsequent sale on 26 December 1952 to Diamant Bleu, Longines' agent for Africa at the time.

With its unmistakably 1940s look, enthralling luminous dial, wonderfully preserved large case and the rare and complex flyback function, this timepiece is an exceedingly appealing and wearable Longines from the "golden age" of watchmaking.
