Mechanical jewelled movement, silvered dial centred by an engine-turned medallion depicting Saint Christopher, patron saint of travellers and drivers, carrying the Christ Child, Arabic numerals, outer railway minute track with one fifth of a second and Arabic five seconds divisions, blued steel hands, circular case, snap on back, stainless steel Omega buckle, case, dial and movement signed
32 mm. diam.

Specialist note

With Omega Extract of the Archives confirming production of the present watch with the depiction of Saint Christopher on the dial in 1939 and its delivery to South America.

This wristwatch is one of the very rare examples of one of Omega's "St. Christopher" wristwatches launched in 1937 and made in different versions. It is furthermore in impressively well-preserved condition for its over 70 years of age.
