Specialist note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1977 and its subsequest sale on May 23rd of the following year.

Reference 3845 Ellipse was launched in 1976, it replaced the very similar reference 3745. It was made in yellow gold or white gold and with different dials, bezels, and bracelet variations. The reference 3845/909 are watches with dials made specifically by Stern Frères with precious or semi precious stones and mounted with various geometric patterns.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.
