Gilt-finished lever movement, crème enamel dial, Roman numerals, central zone with polychrome enamel couple in a Chinese landscape, gilt stylized hands, all revealed behind two red enamel panels with polychrome enamel scenes, the right with a couple in a landscape, the left a scholar in typical Chinese architecture, gilt hinged back with engraved geometric and floral designs, the case side each polychrome enamel scene with a character in a traditional landscape, all housed under a lapis lazuli structure with fluted columns, topped with a rock crystal Buddha on a gilt and enamel platform, all surmounted on a lapis lazuli platform with polychrome enamel panels resting on four gilt feet with gilt borders, movement signed and numbered
