AN IMPORTANT PAIR OF DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS
Each pear and marquise-cut diamond cluster, suspending a marquise-cut diamond weighing 5.01 and 4.41 carats, mounted in 18k white gold, 3.9 cm long

Accompanied by report no. 1162318022 dated 7 July 2014 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 5.01 carat diamond is D colour, VS1 clarity

Report no. 5161318048 dated 7 July 2014 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 4.41 carat diamond is D colour, VVS2 clarity, with excellent polish; accompanied by a working diagram indicating that the diamond is potentially internally flawless

Also accompanied by two supplemental letters from the Gemological Institute of America stating the 5.01 and 4.41 carat diamonds have been determined to be type IIa. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds were first identified as originating from India (particularly from the Golconda region) but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world. Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan I and the 105.60 carat Koh-i-noor, are examples of Type IIa
