Note du spécialiste

For a very similar cruet stand and two jugs see Rudolf Schnyder, Fayencen 1740-1760, Zurich, 1973, no. 24, p. 22. For a pair of cruet jugs and covers bearing the same decoration see Johannes and Peter Vogt, Fayence und Steinzeng aus vier Jahrhunderten, Munich 1991, pl. 49.
