the complete set of five burnished heliogravures, circa 1880, the frontispiece Satan semant l’ivraie (Le Semeur d’Ivraie) (E. 783) on cream simili Japan paper, a fine proof impression, inscribed ‘Les Démoniques/ No. 1 Le Semeur d’Ivraie’ in pencil, presumably by the artist, plates 1-4 on wove paper, watermark J. WHATMAN TURKEY MILL 1889, fine proof impressions, signed in red crayon, titled and inscribed with extensive explanations by the artist in pencil, the full sheets with deckle edges, paper tape along the sheet edges verso, the sheets slightly cockled, generally in good condition (5)
