In Californian sage green, decorated with a small United States of America flag and 'Carroll Shelby' and a United Kingdom flag and 'Roy Salvadori', with Aston weave upholstery, 'Mota Lita' 7 ¼ inch wood-rimmed steering wheel, machine aluminium gar knob and lever, hand finished wheels with chrome spokes and pneumatic tyres

Specialist note

Soaring to victory in the 1959 Le Mans, the DBR1 remains the single most decorated racing car ever built by Aston Martin. The triumph by drivers Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby in the 24 hour race cemented Aston Martin's legacy within British racing history.
