Attributed to Lambert Lombard (Liège 1505-1566)

We are grateful to Drs. Luuk Pijl for suggesting the attribution to Lambert Lombard, on the basis of photographs. He dates it to circa 1560 and compares it to the drawing of the Lamentation in University Library in Warsaw (see G. Denhaene, Lambert Lombard, Antwerp, 1990, pp. 81-82, fig. 93.).
