Cal. K815 automatic movement, 17 jewels, central black rotating alarm dial, outer black chapter ring with silvered baton markings and silvered ring with black Arabic numerals, luminous hands, center seconds, circular water-resistant-type case, black bezel with Arabic and triangular numerals, crown at 2 o'clock for activating the central alarm dial, crown at 4 o'clock for time-setting and winding, screw back engraved with the Deep Sea logo, case, dial, and movement signed

Specialist note

The LeCoultre DeepSea Alarm model was produced in the late 1950's into the early 1960's, and less than 1000 examples were made. In Europe, these watches were sold under the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand, but in the United States, they were sold only under LeCoultre. At the time this model was launched, only a few other diving watches were being produced, most notably the Rolex Submariner and the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.
