Unsigned, Movement No. 22'138, Case Stamped L. R., Late 18th Century
Full-plate gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusée, pierced and engraved cock balance, quarter repeating on a hammer on to a bell in the case, activated through the crown, rounded pilasters, central engine-turned gilt dial, Roman numerals, outer minute track, polychrome enamel village scene, multi-color gilt fisherman, dog and goat at a river, two putti individually striking bells for the hours and quarter, when activated the fisherman raises and lowers his arm, the river flows and a watermill turns, polished circular case, case signed
56mm diam.
