With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1954 and its subsequent sale on 17 October 1955.

Patek Philippe reference 2515 was produced between 1952 and 1959, only 100 with a pink gold case.

Affectionately called "padellone" or "big pan" by collectors due to its wide and flat case and especially for its large stepped bezel, is equipped with the 12'''400 caliber considered the best 12''' movement made at that time.

The present lot bears a first generation dial in excellent condition made by Stern Freres fitted in an incredible well preserved pink gold case made by Wenger in Geneva.

According to our researches, the offered reference 2515 is fresh to the market and less than 4 have appeared at auction thus far.
