The present watch is part of a limited series of Rolex Submariner reference 16613 models made to commemorate the Reversion of the Panama Canal in 1999. Ordered by their retailer Mercurio Joyero in Panama, only 75 examples in stainless steel and gold and 75 examples in stainless steel were made. The models feature the logo of the Panama Canal on the dial, the limited edition number is engraved to the case back.

The present watch is in overall very good condition and is still retaining the protective green sticker to the back.
