Cal. 566 movement wound by changes in the air pressure, 18 jewels, white lacquered dial, Art Nouveau stylised numerals, outer five minute divisions, aperture for moon phases, balance locking lever above the pendulum, raised on three height-adjustable feet, small glazed aperture for the water level, two milled knobs for the regulator adjustments in the sides, all within an inlaid marquetry Art Nouveau-style veneer wooden and glass rectangular case, sides glazed with wood borders, hinged door to adjust the time, four Art Nouveau-style marquetry panels on the sides, each depicting a serene maiden in a seasonal setting, based on the paintings by Alphonse Mucha, gilt brass plate with engraved Série limitée 12/25, stepped base, dial signed and numbered by manufacturer, case branded with the signatures of Philippe Monti and Jérôme Boutteçon

Atmos is a technology that uses atmospheric changes and pressure in the air to power the movement of the clock, and is invented in 1927 by a swiss engineer name Jean-Leon Reutter.
The Atmos Marqueterie "Quatre Saisons" shares the same mechanism as the rest of the Atmos. However the reason, which makes this specific Atmos more noteworthy than the other Atmos is because of its attention in the design. The cabinet of this clock is created by Jerome Boutteçon a marquetry artisan based in Sainte-Croix and nominated French "craftsman of the year" in 1994. To create the cabinet it requires using over 100 types of wood and, more than 2000 parts were delicately fashioned to create a faithful reproduction of the 4 motifs of the seasons. Eventually the process of completing the 25 Atmos Marqueterie "Quatre Saisons" took Boutteçon more than two years time.
