GOYARD, 20TH CENTURY
Leather and brass bound, with handle to front, the interior lined in brown paper, one side with fittings for and with five hangers and two canvas cross straps, the other side with one drawer and two fold out compartments
25 x 20 x 12 in. (89 x 51 x 30.5 cm.)
The lock stamped 'GOYARD PARIS' and numbered '370'

This lot will be removed to an off-site warehouse at the close of business on the day of sale - 2 weeks free storage These lots have been imported from outside the EU for sale using a Temporary Import regime. Import VAT is payable (at 20%) on the Hammer price. VAT is also payable (at 20%) on the buyer’s Premium on a VAT inclusive basis. Where applicable Customs duty will be charged (per rate specified by HMRC guidance) on the Hammer price and VAT will be payable at 20% on duty. When a buyer of such a lot has registered an EU address but wishes to export the lot or complete the import into another EU country, he must advise Christie's immediately after the auction.
