Shaped oval, nielloed on one side with the Narva Triumphal Arch in St Petersburg and a building on the other side, the upswept spout nielloed with an eagle within laurel cartouche, the hinged cover with neo-classical rosette and laurel-border, wooden finial and handle, marked under cover, upper rim and base

Specialist note

The Narva Triumphal Arch was built between 1827 and 1834, in memory of the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812.
