The ovoid bowl finely engraved with an escutcheon-shaped reserve surmounted with stylised feathers on scrolling foliate nielloed ground, floral border, the spiral twist stem with nielloed banded, the interior of the stem vacant, the interior of the bowl gilt, apparently unmarked
