Of traditional form, on four stepped bracket feet, enamelled overall with stylised scrolling foliage and flower-heads in shades of opaque blue, green, pink, purple, and translucent red and stippled gilt grounds, the shaped back finely cast, chased and enamelled with scrolling foliage, the hinged cover with a shaped enamelled thumb-piece, marked under base, on cover and reverse of the back
