Of typical form, later engraved with a crest within the Garter motto below marquess' coronet, marked beneath rim
3.3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) high
1 oz. 9 dwt. (57.8 gr.)
The crest is that of Stewart, probably for Charles, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry K.G. (1778-1854).

Possibly Alexander Stewart (1700-81) and by descent to the Marquesses of Londonderry.
