Ruled in red throughout. Final leaf I4. (Two plates detaching, a few wax stains on text.) Contemporary black goatskin, covers panelled in gilt and mounted with oval white metal centre-piece, semi-circular corner-pieces and foliate clasps, all chased with floral designs, gilt spine compartments, comb-marbled endpapers, red edges (clasps defective, spine rubbed at head and foot, slight worming to top compartment).
