With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black dial and 11 white Arabic numerals in 1997 and its subsequent sale on 16 December 1997.

Consigned by a private collector this "Ellipse" wristwatch has never been offered in public before.

Reference 5028 was in production from 1997 until 2003 and was available exclusively in white gold.
