Oval on shell, scroll and paw feet, with shell, gadroon and foliate borders, the side handles terminating in lion masks, the domed covers with gadroon and rocailles handles, engraved to either side of the cover rims with a crest of a targe and crossed swords bearing the legend HAZIR for Colonel Udny Yule, CB, and further engraved with a full coat of arms to either side of the body
