Four designs, including a duplicate from Kuniyoshi's enigmatic set of four composite heads, the texts read as follows:
Toshiyori no yu wakai hito da [Even although I look old, I am very young: my face is composed of various people and I am very grateful, thanks to others I have the face of an individual]
Mikake wa kawai ga tonda ii hito da [At first glance he looks very fierce, but he is really a nice person]
Hito katamatte hito no naru. Hito okihito no naka ni mo hito zo naki hito nare hito ni nase hito [People joined together to form another. A big person is not a person like other persons: be a person who is a person, a person who creates persons]
All signed Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi giga [for a laugh], published by Fujiokoya Hikotaro and Yamatoya Kyubei
