Accompanied by an original Vacheron Constantin Certificate of Origin and Guarantee dated July 2nd, 1948, and Vacheron Constantin bill of sale dated July 2nd, 1948. Further accompanied by a letter from Vacheron Constantin dated November 25th, 1960, noting that the watch was received in Geneva for service, and a service record dated February 16th, 1960.
The manufacturer has confirmed that the present watch was manufactured in 1926 and sold in 1948.
Founded in 1755 by Jean-Marc Vacheron, Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watch manufacture in Geneva. Fifteen years after its founding, the firm began producing complicated timepieces. In 1785 Jean-Marc's son Abraham took control of the company, and in 1819 formed a partnership with Francois Constantin.
