With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch is set with 339 diamonds weighing 4.57 carats in 2002 and its subsequent sale on 10 October 2002.

Reference 4874 was launched in 1998 and according to our research, the present example is only the second one to appear at auction thus far, underlining the rarity of this piece. The reference 4874 was discontinued in 2006.
