With rectangular gilt-brass singing bird movement with large going barrel and rectangular bellows, circular jewelled keyless lever watch movement, the box of rectangular form with chased and engraved foliage and floral decorated frame, the top and sides insert with rectangular plates decorated with painted flower sprays on translucent blue enamel on engine-turned ground, the oval hinged cover with a painted polychrome enamel scene of cupid and two maidens in classical dress playing the lyre and triangle, the interior with a painted polychrome enamel bouquet of flowers on light blue enamel background, opened by a slide in the side and revealing a singing bird rotating on its axis and flapping its wings, the watch set to the front with blue engine-turned dial, luminous Arabic numerals and luminous hands, both movements wound through winders in the base
