Lot 2387 The celebrated Nautilus model was launched in 1972 and its first model was reference 3700/1 offered in stainless steel with an anthracite ribbed dial. The large masculine 42 mm. case was inspired by the universal shape of a porthole found on all maritime vessels. The watch became popular in the 80s and the Nautilus has today established itself as an iconic sports watch.
