Two columns of 36 lines written in a fine late Carolingian minuscule in black ink, second leaf ruled in blind, 16 large initials, rubrics and headings (sometimes rustic) in red, adiastemmatic musical neumes (scribbles on the recto of the first leaf, staining and holes slightly affecting text especially on the second leaf). In a modern card binding.
The two leaves are sequential. The text opens on the first leaf with Matthew 12:46 and the Mass for the first Wednesday in Lent and ends on the verso of the second leaf with the beginning of the Mass for the first Saturday in Lent.
