Specialist note

Coterie was an avant-garde periodical founded by Oxford University law student Chamal Lal, with contributors including T.S. Eliot, Aldous Huxley, Herbert Read, Edward Wadsworth and Henri Gaudier-Brzeska. In December 1919 William Roberts designed the cover for number 3, followed by Bomberg's design for the cover of number 4.
