Porte St Martin, Grands Boulevards, Paris

oil on board
13 x 16½ in. (33 x 42 cm.)

Acquired by the previous owner in the 1960s.

Note du spécialiste

It is conceivable that the inscription on the reverse 'de Grunwald' could refer to Anatole de Grunwald (1910-1967), a Russian British film producer and screenwriter who studied at the Sorbonne.
