signed and numbered 'A. Rodin no 12' (on the top of the base); inscribed with foundry mark 'E. GODARD Fondr' (on the back of the base); inscribed and dated '© By MUSEE RODIN 1976' (on the right side of the base)
bronze with brown patina
Height: 13½ in. (34.5 cm.)
Conceived in 1912; this bronze version cast in October 1976

Acquired by the present owner, circa 1980.
