The circular panel set to the centre with a cushion shaped pink sapphire in a foil backed setting, within a border of six smaller ruby collets to an old-cut diamond ground, with simiarly-set pendant loop, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1810, 4.2cm long, central collet is a later adaption
Accompanied by report no.08266 dated 30 July 2013 from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, London, stating the cushion shaped 8.66ct natural pink sapphire centre is coated to the pavillion side and shows no evidence of heat treatment
