With a slightly breakfront Ribboned Campan marble top over three drawers, stamped ALIX four times to the underside

Specialist note

Alix specialised in 'meubles genre ancien, bronzes et marqueteries' In 1870 he was established at 46, rue de Charonne and in 1878 moved to 6 bis, rue Richard Lenoir. He exhibited at the Paris Expositions of 1884, 1885 and 1889.
