With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvery black dial and raised gold indexes in 1940 and its subsequent sale on 8 April 1941.

Fresh to the market, the present example is one of only six examples known to exist in pink gold, of which only three of them are showcasing a black dial.
