Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with raised gold indexes in 1952 and its subsequent sale on 14 July 1952. The Extract further confirms that the original case of the watch was transformed in June 1952 from reference 2036 to reference 2252/1 by changing the original leather strap to the present articulated bracelet with concealed dial. Both reference numbers are engraved on the case.

To the best of our knowledge, the present watch, fresh to the market, is one of only five such references known in pink gold with concealed dial.
