FIRST EDITION of this rare collection of plates at original size by Prestel after Rubens, van Dyck, Raphael, and others. ABPC records none sold at auction in over 35 years. The Schlosser copy (sold, Sotheby's New York, 17 June 1992, lot 491) was another work with a similar title, but later and with 37 plates. Brunet IV:865.
