FLOWN CHECKLIST INDEX CARDS
1972
Five checklist pages, printed on both sides, from the Apollo 17 Lunar Module Guidance and Navigation Dictionary (pp.67-76), one signed 'FLOWN TO THE LUNAR SURFACE Gene Cernan'
8 x 6in. (20.2 x 15.0cm.)

Note du spécialiste

These pages would have helped the Apollo 17 astronauts configure the navigational instruments on the lunar module Challenger as they landed on the surface of the Moon for their three-day mission on 11 December 1972. This was mankind's last human landing on the Moon.
