CASE: the waisted case with putto finial to top and scroll and rocaille mounts overall, the door with bead borders and mounted with a figure emblematic of Truth amidst foliage holding the sun and a book engraved une seul suffit, her foot on a globe DIAL: the gilt-brass dial inset with Roman enamel hour plaques, pierced blued-steel hands, chased with flowers, "C" scrolls and a cockerel to centre MOVEMENT: the associated two train chain fusee movement with recoil anchor escapement and rack striking to coiled gong, the polished backplate signed LUND & BLOCKLEY TO THE QUEEN 42 PALL MALL LONDON and numbered 2-239, with pendulum
