Lady Esther Smith, née Gore was the daughter of Arther Gore, 5th Earl of Arran and wife of William Frederick Danvers Smith, 2nd Viscount Hambleden (1869-1928). Lot 337 in this sale is a writing table, once in the collection of Lady Esther Smith.
