2o (351 x 236 mm). Engraved frontispiece, 15 engraved vignettes and 11 engraved culs-de-lampes by Zucchi after Tiepolo, Picart, Piati, Crozati, Piazzetta, Chasteau, Zignaroli, Bigeri and Brida. Contemporary Italian vellum. Provenance: acquired from Andrew Robison, 1981.

Illustrated Italian edition of Milton's Paradise Lost. The fine woodcut borders divide each page into two columns of text, and especially fine are the two engravings after Tiepolo on Dd2v and HH1v. Brunet 243; Lanckoronska 160; Morazzoni 243.
