Woodcut title within architectonic border, 8pp. preliminary verses, 43 half-page emblematic copperplate engravings by Theodore de Bry, page 95 with extract from the Royal privilege, woodcut head-and tail-pieces. (Small paper flaw at A3, 4-line verse pasted in on a slip at I4r). Eighteenth-century speckled calf, covers gilt-ruled, gilt spine with morocco label (slight rubbing to joints and spine). Provenance: acquired from Seven Gables Book Shop, 1977. Landwehr, Romanic 165 (calling for a portrait on verso of privilege); Praz 24.
