With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2006 and its subsequent sale on May 19th of the same year.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

Reference 6000 was launched in 2005, and at first produced only in white gold with a black dial. In 2007 Patek Philippe introduced a model with a gray dial and at the 2011 Basel Fair a pink gold version with brown dial.
