The present Rolex "rainbow" is one of the exceedingly rare lady's wristwatches by Rolex to ever come up for Auction in recent years. This unique and colorful "gem" was especially commissioned for an important client of Rolex in the 1980s and features the national emblem of Oman to the case back - the khanjar dagger in a sheath superimposed upon two crossed swords.

The present lot is a perfect example of a wristwatch made by special order for one of Rolex's top clients and will most certainly gather the avid interest of collectors worldwide.
